The assault caused the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Police detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
